Two dates we’ve danced, in rhythm and rhyme,
Once to salsa beats, once lost in time.
Her eyes, a deep blue, a vivid sea,
In them, I find an endless mystery.

Gretchen, her name, a melody sweet,

A long work week, from dawn till starlight,
Yet, she glows with a radiance, oh so bright.

A gentle soul, so hard to find.
A daughter grown, and now flown the nest,
In her role as a mother, she was the best.

A manager at the heart of retail’s realm,
At the helm of Walmart, she takes the helm.
Long hours she toils, in labor’s dance,
Yet never misses a chance for romance.

Tuesday approaches, with anticipation,
Dragon lights will brighten our fascination.
In the glow of lanterns, we’ll find delight,
Two hearts intertwined in the night’s soft light.

Her beauty, her strength, her radiant smile,
Make every moment, every mile worthwhile.
With Gretchen, life seems to gleam,
